About VivaLife the free online lifestyle magazine

We are a progressive and proactive group of media specialists — editors, design artists, photographers and marketers — based in Kuwait who have come together to create VivaLife, a unique and interactive  online lifestyle magazine, or e-magazine that is also free to read, download or share.

Why an online-magazine?
We firmly believe that the future of publishing lies in intuitive, interactive digital formats like the one we have incorporated in VivaLife. What makes an online magazine format so attractive and unique is that no other media format, whether print, television or radio, can hope to replicate the interactivity, the instantaneity, spontaneity, convenience and reach of an online magazine.

Popularity of online magazine formats
Everyday more and more people are switching their reading preference from print to online; even bellwether publications, which once formed the bedrock of the publishing industry, now offer their products under multiple online formats.

While the generational cohort of children, born between the Sixties and Eighties and demographically referred to as Generation X, is credited with ushering in home computers and popularizing the internet as a commercial tool, it is the current Millennial generation, with their need for constant communication and instant everything, that has made online their medium of choice for socializing. Together, the younger generation has been in the vanguard driving the phenomenal uptake of online media.

Even as VivaLife is resonating well with this young growing market, we are also finding an uptake for online magazines among an increasingly growing older generation, who are happy reading on screen as they are reading print. At VivaLife we aim to cater to everyones needs and it is gratifying to note that Kuwait's favorite free online magazine is becoming extremely popular with a wide swathe of readers from both genders as well as among different age-groups, communities and cultures.

Smell the coffee
We strongly believe that given time, even die-hard fans of printed magazines will begin to appreciate the convenience and innovative features of VivaLife. But, strong belief aside, if you are among those who still miss the feel and texture of paper and the odor of ink, may we humbly suggest that the next time you plunk before a computer screen, grab yourself a cup of fresh coffee. The aroma of fresh coffee beats the stink of ink any day — and so we believe.
