Why the name VivaLife? People have sometimes asked why we added the digit 1 to our domain name; well, nothing esoteric or symbolic there — just that vivalife.com was already taken. However, there was no such restriction when it came to naming our e-magazine, and we could think of no better name than VivaLife for a free online magazine that advocates living life vivaciously and wholeheartedly. 

Highlighting the difference between a life lived and a life existed, VivaLife encapsulates the concept of living life to the fullest; accepting yourself for who you are and respecting others for who they are. We need to add that our idea of living life to the fullest is not about drowning in deafening music or partying till we drop. It is about seizing each day for all it offers, enjoying ordinary moments to its fullest and being open to life’s myriad experiences.

Should you need an example of living life to the fullest, we suggest you go watch children. Their ability to see ''a world in a grain of sand, and heaven in a wild-flower,'' is truly worth emulating. Every month in Vivalife, Kuwait's free online magazine, we bring you informative, inspirational and thought-provoking articles that advocate and hopefully empower you to live life to the fullest.

And, for the environmentally conscious, the knowledge that no tree has been felled or chemicals employed in the production and distribution of the online edition of VivaLife should come as a welcome relief in this carbon-belching world of ours.
